Since I am having surgery today - I am not really up to having pictures taken of me - So I took one of my child's purse and what she ACTUALLY carries in... Other than 50 something chapsticks... 70 something pens... YES she carries a dictionary and a stapler - she is SO weird...

Today I hung the Butterflies in Isabella's room... She was really excited about it. We made similar ones for the teachers for Easter (YES!!! I know I am a bit a head of schedule...)

For Valentine's Day the Daisy's made Butterfly Valentine's and delivered them to a retirement home - it was really sweet and the elders LOVED it!!!

So we decided that half of the present that the kids would give their teachers for Easter would be flower pens... Since that isn't really something that they kiddos can do... I made them... I think they came out rather good actually...

The wee children and I worked together to put together presents for their teachers at school... I did the prep work (involving the paint and hot glue gun... oh and the teacher's names) But boy did they enjoy putting the stickers on... Next goal - to get them to understand that MORE is not always better...

Today was the 100th Day of School - AWESOME... My Isabella had to dress like she was 100 years old... This is the best we could do with a 5 year old...

First month down... George, Isabella's class pet, came home with her today and spent the night... He's a giraffe - after some stiching up... he had a GRAND 'ol time...

So... Last night when I got home with Stasi from the High School Information Night - this is what I saw...

Not that it isn't super cute or anything... You KNOW it is exhausting eating popcorn... But anyhow - It leads me to the picture for tonight... I am happy to say that my children are now the proud owners of a Futon conforms from a couch to a glat bed to a lounger... Here are the girls demonstrating just how comfortable it is... Don't let the cover fool you - this thing is B L U E - and I mean BRIGHT blue...

Tonight my litte Daisy went and visited the Fire Station - what a GREAT treat for them all - she LOVED it!!!

Isabella is participating in Jump for the Heart - to benefit the children of the American Heart Association - after the 1st day she has raised $155-. Hope those donations keep on coming...

Oh goody - this weather ROCKS!!! (Sarcasim) And undoubtably my wee ones are going to get home and ask for ice cream... Sigh... How do I tell those little faces no? EASY - I say NO... but today - yogurt popsicles it is... Made fresh yesterday... They will be HAPPY - it has been a LONG time - and they know they will be ready after school... Thanks Mama for putting the idea in my head when I was little myself...

My most WONDERFUL friend, Karen, had her baby Rhea this morning... I can't wait to have a special name for her like her sister - Soap Flake... Can't wait to meet her... And congrats to the new mommy, daddy, and big sister...

Went with the Woodcreek Middle School Choir to see West Side Story... So this is me, Anastasia, and her friend Chloe...

I couldn't take it anymore - I cleaned up Richard's office - Watch out there is not only a floor in there - but a recliner too... WOO HOO!!!

Day 18

Guess who is not feeling well... Richard picked my Bubba up really early from school - he fell asleep after I dropped him off this morning... and slept till Richard picked him up... He's not really sick... he just has this HORRIBLE cough and his nose is draining like a water spicket... and it is all clear... I think it is just draining down his throat... But Bubba WILL NOT take his medicine... Poor little guy...

Day 17

School starts for Richard tomorrow... Will I miss it - HELL YA... I LOVE going to school - and NO I am not being sarcastic... It's just me... I LOVE to learn - and I LOVE homework... Bring on the tutoring...

Day 16

So... at 0320 this morning - Isabella woke up screaming that she was in pain (from a prior ouchie) and Devlin was coughing really bad... So I thought - Hey - Now's a good time to go to the ER - I wasn't going to bed or anything... Here they are in the hospital wide-eyed and bushy tailed... *Sigh* - NOT a good sign... the GOOD NEWS - they were OK... We have to keep Bella on her medication... and I need to give Devlin either Zyrtec or Claritin... or Benadryl at night (which is what I am thinking)... The Nurse Practitioner thinks it is allergies since his lungs sounded clear - THANK GOD!!! I was not ready for the Bronchial Pnemonia again... and oh GOODY - meds every night - this is NOT going to go well...

BUT they were happy that I let them bring their blankets I made for them for Christmas... Batman for Bubba and the Slumber Monkey's for my little Monkey

Devlin fell in the shower and got his leg the other night - Here's what it looks like today... My POOR boy...

I am SO proud of my little Daisy - I am also happy the patches are IRON on and not to be sewn on - Don't know how my mom EVER did it...

I have TWO pictures today -

I had a meeting near Downtown this morning - and this girl came in with a LOT of dolls to share lunch with her - She held the ones in her arm the ENTIRE time she ate - It was SO sweet - I just could NOT resist...

And of course - I celebrated my 8 year Anniversary with Richard tonight... We went to Perry's Steakkhouse and Grille... It was OK - that is a WHOLE other story... but here's wat they brought us - Which Richard ate ALL by himself... Not my kinda sweets - I am a simple girl myself...
